Nintendo Wii U

Hello all,
I've never owned a Wii console I've only ever owned the Nintendo 3DS.

I currently have a gaming PC and an Xbox One console and I want the Wii U console. Apparently there is a new Wii out soon right March 2017?

Should I wait out on the new console or just buy the Wii U?
Also what games would you recommend for the Wii U and is multiplayer free or do you have to pay for membership just like Xbox, PlayStation etc?

Nintendo are bringing out the Switch-a portable console with the ability to place it in a dock and then play the game on your TV.

I'd personally hold out for the Switch, but if you can find one cheap then it might be a nice placeholder until March.

Wii U is a decent wee console tbh. I'd wait until the switch is out next year unless you get a great deal on a wii u

I would wait and get a Switch. You could get a dirt cheap WiiU further down the line, there are some great games for WiiU (Mario 3D).

The best Wii U games should be porting over to the new SWITCH console so i would wait until March.

Loads of online multiplayer games Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Splatoon etc and its at no extra cost/subscription fees.

There has been lots of talk of the better wii u games getting ported to the swtich, i think it might be better waiting for it.

Definitely wait for the Switch, only 3-4 months away now.
