2000w 8 Pack Psu
2x1080ti`s @2000mhz

Now here is the problem, game takes ages to start up before you get to the menu
but thats not the main issue.
There is a game breaking bug that i cant figure out what causes it.
the game is locked @60fps but randomly the game will trigger into a complete stutter fest or frames will drop that low from 60 to 5-15fps during fights that it completely kills the emersion and ends up getting me killed.

no idea why its doing that im running the latest nvidia drivers.

anyone have any idea`s its driving me insane if i cant fix this i hope steam refund me.

This game used to have a weird bug if you did not have a pad plugged in. This may well have been patched by now, but it used to stutter and do all kinds of weird things if the game did not detect a pad. I play this with a pad so I never experienced it. If you are using a pad make sure it is a proper m$ one or sony pad.

I use a bluetooth adapter + xbox one s pad, works great so i dont think thats the issue i think its a sli issue though i might be wrong someone said it might be that on guru3d so i will check it out when i get a few hours spare again at the weekend. lol

ok tried with sli on and off made no difference at all.
game just chokes for no reason when playing it
its like it get choked up when there are to much partical effects or something causes it, might need to do more research on this but its a game breaker for me and until i figure it out i cant play lol

just for ***** and giggles i reduced my cards OC to stock and cpu to stock, made no difference at all - i to be honest new it wouldn't as all my other games work fine and there more taxing than this game but this game just does not want to play ball...
next thing to try when i get some time is to plug the xbox one s controller into my system instead of using the bluetooth wireless as it could be a signal drop or low issue causing the stuttering to slideshow issue.

will report back once checked.

What res you playing at?

Even though my machine was more than capable of playing at 4K 60FPS, I encountered crazy stutter similar to how you described, seemingly in empty areas where nothing was happening as well. I dropped to 1080P and changed the settings in the nvidia control panel back to default for that game only, it was completely fine after that.

It's a bit of a janky port in places, but an enjoyable game when it works!

Running @ 1440p though tried 4k also
even with my 1080ti maxed out the game does not work at 60fps consistently so i dropped it to 1440p so no idea what graphics card your using to get 60fps consistently ... cause i cant anyway i will give some of the suggestions you said a try and see if that solves it + plugging in controller instead of running wireless might do the trick, will report back.

Absolutely no issues here when I ran 1080ti sli or now when I run single on both my old 5820k and now my 2700x. Sounds like something on your end is causing issues.

Fixed, issue was that the controller needed to be plugged in to fix all stutter to slideshow issue.
must have been a controller driver within the game causing the issue when it detected under wireless a not strong enough signal, though i think issue was that the controller was low on power and was causing the same issue.

fixed now though once controller was fully charged. lol

So once you plugged it in, did you leave it in? Or can you unplug it?

It seems the problem and this happens with a lot of games that stuttering and frames drops are caused by low controller battery or not a clean line of sight to the blue tooth receiver that causes the issues.
but that is fixed by having a clean line of sight to receiver with properly charged battery fixes all issues.

but if you plug the controller directly wired into the pc all issues dont happen at all, and it just works.
