I see OCUK are now selling Norton Internet Security 2010. I'm currently using Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Firewall. I did use NIS 2009 before I bought Windows 7 and I was extremely happy with it.

Would people recommend NIS 2010 over Microsoft Security Essentials?

I wouldn't. Unless over the course of time MSE is proven to be miles behind the paid for products then I'd save my money.

Fair enough. I'm happy so far with MSE but I did find NIS 2009 to be superb.

I used 2009 and did the free update to 2010 (updates for free if you have a valid subscription).

I was impressed with 2009. I have a test file and 09 blocked the file as I was trying to copy it off the cd to test. So, thumbs up from me!

If you liked 09, I'd grab it at that price! Mind you, it'll probably just be for a single user.
