Nissan Murano

Its an offroader isnt it? do you need an offroader?

Its the sort of car you would buy to keep up with the Jones's tbh, no idea if its any good and i dont really care but for £30k you can get a land rover if your an offroader ;)

My boss has got one, even with the "bling" neons under the boards that you step up on. Ended up getting them removed because the controller was knackered.

Already looking to sell it.

Jokester

£30k for a jacked up Nissan with some silver bits nailed on ... :p

Americanised-Japanese tat, made to appeal to the 'bling' market from the looks of it, install a 3 bajillion watt stereo, some 48" rims, hydraulic suspension and some neons and you'll be the 'coolest' dude on the block :D

That's not exactly what Top Gear had to say about it, they did say it has a nice engine and loads of kit but wont go far off road too well, indeed it'll manage a few highish curbs and puddles but not much more apparently.

Which says to me, it's an off-road car designed not to go off-road, which by implication makes it a bit daft im afraid, as when you compare it's on-road dynamics to a proper car it's nothing to shout home about, it's weight and height preclude particularly startling performance despite the engine and it isn't gonna corner as well as a proper car either ...yet amazingly it's supposed to be a road car. So what Nissan have actually done is produce a car for mugs, it's not really very good on the road or off the road, it's tall, heavy and costs more than it should considering what it 'really' is at the end of the day.

You could say that about most of the small 4x4's.

Oh I do :p ...I'd nail the lot of them to a mountain side and drive over them with a 'proper' 4x4 given half a chance.

Anyway enough off my rambling, I'm just putting forward the common sense argument that I use on all these lifestyle 4x4s. If you don't use your head you use your heart, and who the hell buys a jacked up Nissan with some silver bits nailed to the front with their heart :p ...anyway, I'll shut up now.

Friends dad has one of these, and went in it on sunday, for about hour cruising along about 80, very refined inside, lovely and comfy and loads of room in the back! the engine sounded awesome, 3.5 v6 i believe, and seemed to really pull in any gear. just my two cents.
