Is it possible to run Windows 11 in 120hz as my Dell has the Nvidia 3060 card
When i change to 120hz i loose the display resolution to 2560 x 1440 ?
So when i change display resolution back to 3840 x 2160 it drops down to 60hz
I do have dell 32 4k G3223Q

Quick Answer: Yes, your Dell G3223Q monitor can run at 4K (3840×2160) with 120Hz or even 144Hz refresh rates, but only if you connect it using HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC (Display Stream Compression). If you’re stuck at 60Hz at 4K, it usually means you’re using an HDMI 2.0 cable/port or the wrong settings in Windows/NVIDIA Control Panel

Must being doing something wrong in the Windows/NVIDIA Control Panel - Only get 120Hz @ 2560 x 1440
HDMI is defo HDMI 2.1

Try resetting the HDMI cable.

How long is the cable out of interest? Some lengthier ones can lose signal strength which can cause problems.

If you haven't already try a modern DP cable.

Do you have HDR enabled? If so try disabling it and see if it allows you to run 4K/120 or not, if not it could also indicate a bandwidth problem.

A lot of HDMI cables on the market claim to be 4K/120 capable/2.1 but frankly aren't.
