nLite help?

Got a new clean install of Windows XP, and seeing as I seem to be reinstalling XP with a kind of stunning frequency, I thought I'd have a play with nLite, only I'm bamboozled from the first screen.

Basically what I'm asking is 'Can nLite copy my Windows install plus all the programs I have installed atm (the 'essentials', like Firefox and Winamp and stuff) and make an ISO out of it that'll basically install itself when I put the disc in, and return my PC to its current state?'

If nLite can do the above, how? If it can't, can anyone tell me how to use it properly and/or how to do what I'm looking for?

I've had a look around the nLite site, but I've just got a mental block when it comes to setting up Windows. Try as I might, I can't get my head around it. At all. :(

Thanks

Might have to do this myself soon since I had to ring the XP helpline to get Windows activated. I've "activated" XP too many times MS reckons.

Yeah, I had to do this myself earlier. Annoying, but can't be helped. :o

Acronis True Image it is then guys, I'll go look for it. :)

Right, got myself a backup all done. I was just wondering, how do I 'use' the backup, if and when I need to? I'm going to burn the backup to DVD, and periodically make new ones...this one is the 'clean Windows' backup, but I'll make more when I get more files etc that I need to keep.
