nlite & vlite users...

just been playing around with nlite and in the past haave only really used the slipstream options, but cleaarly there is a whole lot more to be done, just wondering what other add'ons or options you guys use?

I use every section, removing unnecessary drivers and windows components I never use, then all the service and interface tweaks I'd normally do in Windows along with some of the unattended options.

hey bleed, i tried with this site before and somehow cocked up, so you download each kb or the pack, and once you have do you unzip them or just point to it in nlite?

download the .7z file, leave it as it is, then point the nlite hotfix section at the 7z file.

do this in the first run (or the same run as slipstream), then close nlite after the pack has gone in (takes about 1-10 mins)
then start nlite up again to do removals, otherwise you'll have extra languages there

first one went ok, 2nd one failed after played around with some more settings, when you add the WGA plugin, is that in the drivers or the hotfix? as it errored on me

i've always done it the same time as the post sp3 hotfix pack. (need sp3 slipped first)

churned up and error, but will test the install tonight and see what's what
