I tried vmware but found I got mouse lag when in the virtual machine. I now use MS Virtual PC and find it much betterMarcLister said:Off topic but I tried an nLite install today. I added my drivers and removed crap and made the install unattended. I also set my screen res and refresh rate yet when I installed Windows and ran it the screen res was 640x480. If you're on MSN sometime this week bledd perhaps we can work out what I'm doing wrong?
I think I need to start understanding a VMware setup so I can test my nLite before I screw around with my installs.
Mine doesnt seem to accept the new res details eitherMarcLister said:Er you can't PM on OcUK forums. I've done a few installs with nLite now but my main gripe is the fact that I don't seem to be able to get XP to run at 1280x1024@75Hz from the off.
So you select all the options each time?bledd. said:no, just only select addons, add rvm next next next etc, so you get the 'processing' screen, where it adds files etc (takes 3-10 mins)
then quit nlite and start over (this time dont add rvm), and carry on as normal
personally i never use the last session ini's
