anyone know what is this and how do i turn it of from task manager that it would not appear when i restart as it uses 25 to 30 % of the cpu.

edit: well i found out that this thing is in programe files (86) \ Common Files \ lib and it belongs to nero 6 ffs die nero !!!

I use this site to find out what an exe file is: http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/nmindexstoresvr

Also when that doesn't help I just Google the name and see what comes up, if the first 20 hits are spyware/virus related I know I am in trouble.

From memory its the Nero Scout service, you can disable it within Nero i believe.
