No 12v/cig lighter in my car - can one be installed?

Hi

I want a 12v output to charge phones/mp3 player/sat nav etc in car. The problem is it's a Fiat Panda and it doesn't have any obvious way to install one...

Is it possible to break through the dash somewhere and route a cable to the battery? How would you do it?

The theory is still the same in terms of wiring it in, just did a google for Panda dashs' and it doesn't look like there's a place for a cig socket unless you cut/drill one out.

There might be actually, there's a coin slot thing in the dash you could put it in. Might mess with the warranty, but seeing as its an '06 I'm guessing that's not an issue :)
