Hi

Just got a Samsung 2693hm, and GTX 280. Been playing a lot of stuff fine in XP and Vista, at 1680x1050, but today went to play crysis warhead and noticed a number of resolutions missing in the gfx options. Looked in the windows display properties and they're missing in there too, most noticebly 1680x1050. Already have the latest nvidia drivers and monitor driver installed, so at a bit of a loss.

Hi

Updated to the latest Nvidia driver (i had a slightly older one), but still the same result. Anyway. tried your suggestion Typhoon and that worked fine - thanks. Maybe a future driver will sort it properly.

I have the exact same problem right now: It's probably either your cable or port on the monitor not sending the correct resolution info to the PC.

Try it with another system, if it works on there with the same cable+port, it's the PC. If not, replace the cable, if that doesn't work: RMA it.

Hi

I just checked in Vista, and the 1680x1050 res is there (without forcing it), so i'm guessing its some weird driver issue, rather than a hardware problem.

BTW once you have added a custom res in the Nvidia control panel, it is automatically added to the Vista screen settings control panel.
