I just bought the superflower 1000 watt PSU and it looks very nice, but ,one small problem. The plug is two prong euro and not 3 pin UK? I don't have a 3 pin adapter? also will it work in the UK? also If I'm buying a £150 PSU wouldn't you put a 3 pin adapter in the box?

oh ok, but I think OCUK should have supply it in the box.

Incorrect.

Superflower should have provided the 3 pin plug not OCUK, unless they are importing EU stock and then yes the responsibility lies with them unless advertised otherwise.

However...if you are upgrading a PSU you can use your original cable to get you going in the mean time whilst you drop a thread into the customer services forum and let them know as I'm sure they will help out.

not really ocuks fault, more to do with superflower? Agree it should have a 3pin uk plug though :/ is it 100% safe to just use a spare kettle? (being EU i presume so, i'd just fret a bit!)

or else this thread would be "Box opened/damaged blah whats missing, terrible service, sue the world"

Indeed!

I would question why you think OCUK would be checking the contents of a sealed box in the first place! Assuming it's been wrapped by cellophane, there should be no need to open it - this could make it B grade!

As above, it should be the manufacturer's job to provide one for UK units.

Well that's awful on superflowers part.

Thanks for the replys:)

It's fine.
Kettle plugs are all the same apart from the fuse in the plug itself which although is bad practise to do so, you can just run a 13A fuse for the time being.

Depends on where the products are "destined" for though.
If they are being made to be sold in the UK then they should be coming with the relevant plugs.
If they are made to be sol din the EU and OCUK are going to the EU distributors and buying them for selling in the UK then really OCUK should be providing adapters or cables for them.
BUT
THey've sold quite a few and I've not heard of many if any other people with this problem so more than likely a mispack at Superflower.

If using a kettle lead should really use either a 5 or 10 amp fuse for PSU. That said Seasonic use 13amp fuses in the leads I've received with their PSU's!!
