Finally after many years my 360 Premium won't turn on, RROD

Been reading up on the towel trick and the xclamp.

Should I bother trying either or just start looking for a replacement ? Really wanted to play Black Ops tonight

Weird, just come home for lunch and thought I try again, and it seems to work fine now ?!

Well it's definitely faulty.

Suppose as my g/f bought it for me for £280 i think is just a bit annoying. But then lasting 5 years is not bad I suppose.

Good enough reason to get the new slim one just for wifi and HDMI though

Oh and I called M'soft and got the usual, £80 to repair. So at that price may as well buy a new one !
