I'm looking for some OCZ or Corsair 2000MHz DDR3 2x 2GB (4GB), however, can't find the stuff anywhere, even though it's available from the manufacturer?

Also, in order to obtain 2000MHz I know I'll need a 500MHz FSB, but would that not only give me 1000MHz DDR? Or will I have to use a memory divider with the Asus Striker II Extreme? Sorry if that's a dumb question, however, never built an Intel rig before and currently am still using DDR400.

I could get 2x 2GB of OCZ, however, will it work at published latencies at 2000MHz??

Bugger... just been reading the forums over @ OCZ, apparently, it's unlikely I'll even be able to run 1600MHz+ without disabling 2 of the 4 cores when using a QX9650/Asus Striker II Extreme combo and 4GB OCZ RAM... WTF?

OCZ actually recommend a dual-core CPU (E8500 for example) for 1600MHz+ for my planned mobo & RAM!

I'm rapidly changing my mind again... DDR2??
