No 780Ti for me:(

As above the 1200i is a shoddy PSU.

I recently went down from an Enermax Revo 1500W to a 1200W Superflower 1200W Plat and it's a great PSU. Runs my three 780Ti without a hitch @ 1.212v flat out over all three and 1.38v through 4960.

I'd recommend the 1000W Plat for two cards. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-005-SF

If you're looking at Classifieds however and plan on running in excess of 1.3v through both I would be going for at least the 1200W as 8-Pack already mentioned.

so 1000W for reference overclocking

1200+ for Classy / DC2 big volts

That's the PSU I'm going for, but going for the black model. Just looking now for reference 780Ti cards. I'm upgrading in may with the haswell refresh,so before I buy new PSU I want ti make sure the haswell refresh works with the super flower 1000. So I thought I will wait until May before buying. I have a ocz 600 watt in my machine, even though I wouldn't trust it with any GPU's. So will game on my Xbox One until my upgrade is completed.

You'll be fine with reference Ti's on that. They're all much of a muchness really.
Best thing you can do with a bog standard Ti is put it on water. All these different air coolers are just clutching at straws IMO. My cards aren't great silicon, and I don't really bench but on water they fly along enough to get me some fairly good scores.

The Super Flower is a great PSU.

I would love to buy superflower 1000 now. Would these work with the haswell refresh 4790k? maybe you would know 8-pack? You do get to play with tech earlier then most. So would I be ok buying it now knowing it'll work on 4790k?

I run 2 780 Ti's on the 1000w platinum superflower. It's a perfect combo for me, so would highly recommend.

I had terrible buzzing noise issues with my previous PSU powering the Ti's, but that was only a 750w xfx so think I was pushing my luck.

Yes you were. 750 watt wasn't enough hence the loud noise.

I get coil whine/hiss over my three when gunning for it but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. If it's not broken don't fix it. Can't here it with side panel on anyway.

You tend to notice it more on water obviously any who.

My first AX850 had some coil whine so got another AX850 under RMA that was fine for over a year then would not boot PC on first power switch press (more like 20-60presses)

Replaced under RMA with an AX860 aka a seasonic and has been great out the box.

Not sure I will buy corsair PSU in the future losing the faith a bit with them.

I still have my old HX620 around as a backup, that seems built in the old school manner..

PSU is just over a year old. Will call ocuk for them to RMA the PSU. Will buy new one before I upgrade. Which one do you have Greg?

As it's over a year old they will probably tell you to go direct to Corsair in which case you will need to pay to send it to Holland. I have heard of some people getting free shipping by going on the Corsair forums and complaining about shipping costs.

I'm upgrading my PC when the haswell refresh releases and as you know my PSU is dead, Would the SuperFlower Platinum 1000W PSU work with z97 mobo's? Don't know? I want a new PSU now, but I guess I'm asking should I wait for the new 4790k to come out before buying new PSU? I want to make sure it's compatible with the new mobo's?
