I've put "no" in quotes as a way of saying there are arcade games on the PSN but nothing like Xbox Live Arcade. Anyone have any ideas why this is? Sony seem to be doing their arcade games themselves. Why hasn't the PS3 got the numerous Popcap games or others like Prince of Persia, Carcassonne, Konami stuff et al.?

PSN has stuff like Rub-a-duck, Flow etc..

It also has Tekken (which is an authentic Arcade title) and other titles such as Crash Bandicoot, Wipeout and Spyro The Dragon...

Also Xbox arcade has been running for something like 18 months + and PSN has been around (in the UK) for less than 6 months. More games will definately come given time and you always have Q-Bert to keep you busy until then :p

I'm not sure that is a valid reason. PS3 was originally going to come out at the same time as 360. Nearly 2 years on and PS3 fans are still suggesting "just keep waiting another 6 months"? I'm patient but not that patient.

Don't recall that PS3 had same release date as 360! I know it was delayed but not by that much. I thought 360 release was brought forward to be first to market?

Also, I would imagine that a lot of developers wait for the install base to increase before releasing their games.
