No audio Hardware

hello i was wondering what to do if it says no audio hardware because i cant play nothing anymore i have got my speakers attached and everything else is workin but one day i started my computer and it said no audio hardware and i dont know what to do i am confused this has never happened

i hope to hear from anyone soon to tell me what i can do

Uninstall and re-install drivers is a good start.

physically take out the sound card
restart the pc
re-install all chipset drivers
restart the pc
make sure everything else in Device Manager is fully recognised (if not go through all other hardware making sure its all recognized etc)
Restart pc if you installed more drivers
Re-install sound card and install latest drivers
