No Audio... ?!?

Turned the PC on as per normal today, no sound at all and the XONAR device seems to be out of action..

Error: Compatible audio card not detected.
Possible reasons are:
1. You don’t have a supported audio card installed in your system. Supported cards are:
ASUS Xonar: DG, DGX, DG SI, DS, DSX, D1, D2, DX, D2X, HDAV, HDAV Slim, ST, STX, STX II, Xense.

When I run the driver installer to fix it, I now get this. Been working for years, hmmm

Fixed it...

I had to turn computer off (again), unplug at wall, press the power button to discharge the system fully. Reboot and it's working again.

Turned it off and on again lol.
