No Bass from Acoustic Energy Aego 2.1

hi folks, ordered these from OcUK yesterday and arrived today. Wee issue in that there is no bass whatsover with them. I think it must be how i have wired them up to my Audigy 2 but i'm clueless. Only is one wire which is Mini jack to stereo rca's and i've plugged the mini jack into the green socket of my sound card.

any ideas much appreciated

Have you checked the switch for toggling a centre input? Not sure if that has anything to do with it but it's worth a try. Maybe you could post a picture of the way you've got it wired up? Although it does sound like you're doing it correctly.

I had a similar problem with my Aego's, only I was just getting a tiny bit of bass rather than none at all. I had to RMA them a few days ago so I'll see what happens.

Have you select 2.1 speakers? Your Audigy 2 might be redirecting the bass somewhere else.

Think there defo faulty, just tried my nano and zero bass. Not happy.

Ce la vie, will call OcUK in the morning. Never rma'd before so hope is painless as already wasted a day waiting in for the delivery and they tried to deliver to a house 5 miles away with same name.
