No Bass From Sub Problem

Not sure why bt this morning when i switched my PC on, the settings had been reset.

I have a creative Xtremegamer, using latest drivers.

After messing about i finally had sound back in all channels except for the Sub.

In the creative settings i tested the channels and bass was been played on the Sub.

Yet, when i play music films etc, no bass comes from the Sub.

I've checked the settings and they're the same as they were before, i just cant see whats causing this problem!

I have Antec Lansing 5.1 System, had it for a good few years now. So not sure if its that on its way out!


Edit: Bass comes from the sub when playing music etc in 2.1 mode (Stereo)

Edit2: Tried the same config on the Onboard sound. Bass plays in 2.1 but not in 5.1. Guessing the sub is dead!

Honestly starting to annoy me now!

The Centre & Sub are on teh same wire from the sub to the pc.

They dont work now.

Think its time to buy a new system. Just seem to be having problems with this set of speakers now.

What do people suggest? A wreless remote would be nice
 
Okay, last post.

Iv unistalled all drivers and reinstalled the drivers.

Channel assignment. All the channels play correctly. The Sub even makes a sound for the channel assignment.

Yet when i play music, etc, nothing comes out from the sub?
