Hi All
Bit of advice if I may, dug out a couple of laptops and both seem to not detect the battery - possibly after updating, which is **** I was doiing on one.
One is running windows 10, is an Asus, had a problem with battery, so got a new one, but still saying no battery detected
Other is an old windows 7, was fine, was just doing some updates so I could use it for basic stuff, then suddenly this one now says now battery detected.
I feel jinxed - both show red lights on the front, but I am sure the batteries are good, and this is some windows issue - I have updated everything I can, deleted battery drivers and re-installed - which then does then show a fully charged battery, but if I unplug it dies. When I uninstall the microsoft ACPI compliant control method battery driver, on re-install it then shows a battery charged at 255%
Any ideas?
