I built a PC the other weekend and found it weird that the monitor didn't pick up a signal. Now I notice that while everything seems to power up, there is no beep, and even with a DVI set up I don't get any bios or signal on my screen.

I'm heartbroken after all this wait :(

Running an i5 760 with 6950 graphics card, p77p5d-e motherboard.

if its the monitor that is playing up have you tried using the onboard graphics to see if the graphics card? .. does ur case have a speaker? if not there could be no beeps due to no speaker... also if all that is ticked.. try taking everything out and just powereing up with on board graphics/GPU with one stick of RAM in the correct slot.. i believe this is the second slot on the mobo for dual/tri

I hate to post bad news but I had a similar incident at christmas. I decided to water cool my PC and after very carefully dismantling my bits and getting everything sorted (which took 1 and a half days) I finally finished. I then plugged everything in and had exactly the same problem as you...no beep or post. I got a few friends round with their hardware and I tracked the problem down to my graphics card. I RMAd the card which took ages to come back and popped it in the system, it booted straight away. My advice to you is first of all try everything Destroyer said. If you get nothing from that, try your graphics card in another PCIe slot (if you have one). Try one stick of ram in every slot and it that doesn't work try the other stick. After remove the GPU power cables and try and power up the system. Does the mobo speaker make any noise when you do that?

Sorry to hear this has happened to you. I know exactly how you feel.
