No beep on startup

I just installed my pc in a new case(Silverstone Fortress FT02B) and now when i turn it on i don't get the usual short beep that i always got on startup, however i still have a signal on my monitor and the pc boots up fine.

I'm sure i have all the cables in the correct place but i did notice that there doesn't seem to be a speaker cable for the front panel, so that could be the problem, should i have recieved one with the case?

Did the old case have a piezo speaker? and the new doesnt? if not ignore it.

Just had a look and i think that's what it is, theres a small cable that's only on the old case that says speaker, that connects to the front panel header that has a little speaker on the end. So the lack of a beep on my new case is just normal?

100% normal.

you dont want to hear it anyway do you? beep beep?

Ok, thanks. Was just so used to hearing it that i thought it was on every case.
