No big kepler for Gamers?

Wait, so 1 GK110 is better than 2 GK104s? Wow!

And why would they release a gaming GK110 card? AMD aren't providing any competition so they can carry on milking GK104 and turn GK110 into a $3000 professional card.
 
Unless I read it wrong (bit sleepy atm) all it says is that Tesla K20 will be based on GK110 not that GK110 is K20 and nothing more - as its pencilled in for Q4 2012 that may (tho is not a guaranteed indicator) that we will see GK110 based gaming cards about that time to.
 
I'm still going with big kepler going for quadro's and tesla, they seem to have deliberately crippled cuda performance in kepler so they can get more money out people. I know loads of people who bought geforce over quadro due to the bang per buck being better.
