Hi

My kids pc was running fine. It then froze up. After restrating there was no bios beep and no video signal.

All the fans & drives seeup to be powering up fine.

What is the most likely component to be faulty?

Thanks

Yes, I have donew hat you suggest as well as try another PSU as I had a spare lying around.

I will try and find another stick of memory to try. If that fails am I to assume it's the mobo?

I take it you also re-seated the video then as well.

Hmmm reckon you're right with trying another stick of RAM. Also, try to beg/borrow a video card to try.

I have tried ram & gfx card. I am going to try reseating the processor now

Startin to look bad.

Time to borrow a gfx card I think.

I've not known a processor to wiggle out on it's own yet, but it was worth trying, and I suppose they can do it as much as any other component.

I had a similar problem, and after changing the mobo, and not getting a result, I RMA'd the graphics card. Solved the problem.

A few days after getting it working again, the pc decided to keep crashing to a corrupted video screen, and I had RMA the ram.

Don't know if there is any relation between the two problems, but when you fix it, probably a good idea to run memtest.

Hope you get it sorted soon, I know how you feel.
