Some odd behaviour here, recently built a new PC for a friend and used old peripherals like a VGA monitor, now the PC is built and we're using a 29" AOC ultra wide screen the display doesn't come up until we get to the Windows starting screen. No sign of a BIOS display.
If we connect via DVI all is well and we can see the BIOS display, however DVI isn't supporting the 2560x1080 resolution.
Any thoughts on why HDMI would be doing this.
This is on a GTX 680 as well as the internal Intel graphics.
I could use the Display port as both the 680 and monitor have that but I don't have a cable yet.
Andi.
