No boot help!

Tis afternoon I swapped out my old Gigabyte 970 DS3 mobo for an Asus 900FFX Sabretooth. Now when I boot the first time everything powers up for a second before turning off. Nothing happens at all on subsequent presses of the power button. If I unplug the PSU until the mobo light goes out and then try again it powers up but with the same results.

I found what appears to be a step by step guide to identifying the problem on Tom's Hardware but the link to show full content won't work on my iPad. And obviously I can't look at it on my PC.

Anyone got an iPad-friendly link to the guide or else any other suggestions?

Check out the manual. The motherboard has a few LEDs that helps with boot issues, telling you which parts are not behaving accordingly. Chapter 2.2.7 Onboard LEDs.

From there, there are a few options to further diagnostic the problem (maybe a ram problem, a CPU problem, a power problem...).

1) Check the manual as Oliver_renault said
2) If that doesn't work or you don't find anything, make sure the CPU fan is plugged in
3) If it doesn't work, take out all but 1 memory card and try again.
4) If that doesn't work, unplug your graphics card and re push it in, make sure it's sat properly in the PCI-e slot.
5) If that doesn't work, hopefully someone else can help!
