So just put together the following pc:

Ryzen 9600x

Crucial P310 500GB M.2 2280

Asus TUF Gaming A620-Pro WIFI

Kingston FURY Beast EXPO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 PC5-48000C30 6000MHz

Kolink Enclave 500W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply

Was planning on using on board gfx since this is just a work pc

It turns on, but nothing displays using hdmi output. Motherboard has some lights, only one that is lit is the memory light, cpu and gfx light are not lit.

I attempted to do a blind flash bios incase motherboard did not support cpu, which i believe was successful but still no post?

Anyone have any other ideas? Or am I missing something stupid? Like incompatible/on board graphics do not work with cpu and mobo combo?

Looking at the board is does need a bios update to support the 9600X, did you use the bios renamer tool before trying to flash it?

I cannot see you had to do any bios updates in stages.

Do you have a dedicated GPU you could test with?

When its failing to boot do you have an LED on in the top right of the board? there is 4 LEDs (CPU\DRAM\GPU\BOOT) which should indicate what the problem is
Yea used the bios renamer tool, had flashing green light for a few mins while it did its stuff, and then tried to turn it on and Nada, failed first time flashing giving solid green light due to not renaming

Havent got a spare gfx card as mine is under water cooling, yea the only led light that is lit is the dram light, i presume they should all be lit indicating that all is OK?

On first ever boot memory traing can take a while in AM5. Possibly why you RAM light is lit.

boot again and gove it 10 mins.

If still nothing then take out 1 stick of RAM, then try it in all slots. If no joy try the other stick in all slots. You'll have to give it a few mins each time you try though, again due to the training.
Not sure how long I left it but was atleast 5+ mins, also tried with just 1 stick of ram too

Ah so it's a ram issue!! Thanks guys, will try different slots and different sticks tomorrow and hopefully get it to boot!

From memory i believe I just stuck them in both black slots, has two black two grey on the mobo, first and 3rd slot? Will try them in 2nd and 4th and see what happens

Could be the cooler too tight causing the board or cpu to bend.

What cooler are you using?

if its got 4 screws to secure it how did you do these up? Normally I start in 1 corner, tighten a little then move to the opposite corner, tighten a little and then repeat until they are done.

be quiet! Pure Rock Slim 2 CPU Cooler - 92mm

It just has two securing clips on top and bottom of the cooler, cannot be adjusted for tightness, so I don't think that will be an issue
