I have a Dell Dimension 5000 which, when turned on, puts all fans on full blast beeps 6 times and gives no output on the screen. :/

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't think of where to start with no screen output.

Thanks,
Smithy

EDIT: Even when disconnected from the mains there is a orange light on the mobo.

On the rear of the pc, usually on the I/O shield there is usually 4 LED'S with numbers, are any of these different colour other than green.

There aren't any LEDs on the IO shield but there are some on the front, called A B C D. A and B are orange and C and D are green. Thanks for the fast reply!

EDIT: Grammar.

Cheers, my old Dell these were on the back :)

Looking around the internet I have come across this thread, have a look at the last 2 posts:

Seems to shows memory issue, remove the on module and then try the other to see if you can get the system to boot.
