no boot up

hi all,have a hp g6 laptop turned it on and get a message "no os found" can't do anything with it anyone any idea's ,thanks.

Boot from your Windows DVD or USB install media. Select Repair and look for start up issues. It should find your Windows partition and recreate the information necessary for Windows to boot.

You didn't say what version of Windows you are using. If you have Windows 8 use this to create a Windows installer if you don't already have one.
