no case?

im wondering what will be better for cooling. putting the sides of the case on or not. without there is more airflow but the fans might not direct the air as well. what do you think?

If you have no side panel, there is going to be no constant airflow flowing throughout the case, enclosing the cool air and pushing the warm air out.

Taking the side panels off and getting a temperature decrease means you dont have good airflow..

Put it this way:

If your temperatures go up when you remove the side panels, it's indicative of poor airflow. You should either improve the airflow if your temps are high enough to cause instability, or ignore it if your system is stable.
