No CERTIFICATE folder with Blu Ray iSO ?

Hi All,

I'm trying to create a blu ray iso with ImgBurn and PowerDVD10. But there is no certificate folder in the root of the image?

Theres just the BDMV folder, which only contains 4 folders. Isnt there supposed to be 7 within BDMV ?

Ive got BACKUP, CLIPINF, PLAYLIST & STREAM folders..

HELP PLZ.

Don't know anything about Blue Ray ISO's or disk burning but had a look anyway, found this that didn't mention certificate folders

Blu Ray Folder Structure

Blu-Ray discs use a simple file and folder structure that is easy to understand. All Blu-Ray discs use identical file structures; the main directory on a Blu-Ray disc is the BDMV directory.

BDMV
The BDMV directory is divided into several sub-directories. "Playlist" contains database files for video playlists, "Clipinf" stores database files for clips, "Stream" contains both audio and video files used for streaming, "Auxdata" contains sound and font files used in menus and "Backup" is home to two small files used for playback.

Then I found this page which appear's more helpful

Burn Blu-ray’s: A How To Guide For Burning BD-R discs

Add your BDMV folder into the IMGBurn project
From Windows Explorer, you can drag and drop the BDMV folder of the movie you want to burn into ImgBurn. The latest ImgBurn will automatically create a CERTIFICATE folder so that you will only need to add a BDMV folder to the burning project.

MS2010, I read that too..

"Add your BDMV folder into the IMGBurn project

But ImgBurn doesn't seem to create a certificate folder. Perhaps its because I havent got all the correct folders in the BDMV folder it isnt recognising it as a blu-ray?

I have done some research and there should be 8 folders within BDMV. AUXDATA, BACKUP, BDJO, CLIPINF, JAR, META, PLAYLIST & STREAM.

I have tried creating the folders I didnt have within BDMV and I've also created a CERTIFICATE folder alongside BDMV incase ImgBurn decides not to.

Creating the iso now will let you know the outcome.

Ahh cool

I had just landed on another site
http://how-to.wikia.com/wiki/How_to_Make_a_Region_free_Blu-ray_ISO_for_backup

That say's

check the folder structure by adding in the following folders (even if they are empty)

1. BDMV
2. CERTIFICATE

using Imgburn choose 'Create Image from Files & Folders', drag in the BDMV and CERTIFICATE Folder along with any extra files that in your root folder outside of those two folders.

So the directory structure might not be as important, but as you have it working , thats probably not all that useful anymore :p
