Hi all.

I’m staying at a cottage with Wi-Fi. The router is located in the owners house next door.

In macOS I can connect to this Wi-Fi connection no problem and it works as normal.

However when I boot into the windows 10 installation although I can connect to this Wi-Fi connection it has no internet access at all.

I have tried disabling and reenabling the Wi-Fi adapter, I have tried forgetting the Connection and reconnecting and I have tried the resent network option in windows. Nothing has worked and I still have no internet connectivity when using windows.

does anyone have any ideas what else I could try? The one thing I can do is restart the router as I don’t have physical access to it.

many thanks.
M.

Windows Update pushed driver out that broke the WiFi on my Macbook air under bootcamp. Could ping outsite addresses no problem, but actually moving data was a no go

Go into device manager -> Update Driver -> Manually select -> There should be two driver options, select the older one of the two

I can post some more specific details if you need them.
