No display after installing new GTX960

Hi all,

I have just purchased and installed an MSi GTX960. I am not getting any signal via HDMI. The pc sounds to start up fine just like how it used to. All LEDs light up etc. My motherboard has no onboard display ports. What could be the issue? My specs are:

CPU: i5 2500k
Mobo: Gigabyte P67A UD4 B3
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600
PSU: Huntkey AFPC 700W

Do a bios update on the motherboard (with the old GPU if you have no onboard gfx).

Sounds like it's due to EFI, and the board not liking it.

Hmmm you probably not updated motherboard BIOS since F2 which is non EFI, F5 added EFI hybrid BIOS support.

I suggest you to try update BIOS to latest F8.

did you connect power cables to the card? try another type of conenction see if that works.

My GTX 960s don't like my old RIVE and 3960X and all I get is a blank screen but they run fine on boards with a newer bios.
