Nopes in correctly and has the additional power connector in.

Spec-
E6400 Core 2(stock speeds currently)
Asus P5B Deluxe
4Gb OCZ Reaper Memory
8800GT
7900GS(i think its been awhile since i checked)
X-Fi sound card
3 Sata drives (various)
DVD-RW Drive
Antec Nine Hundred

What drivers are you using? Can you boot up in safe mode ok? If you can then I would look at cleaning the old drivers off and installing again. If not then it could be a dodgy graphics card or slot.

nope its just dvi to dvi. having a display is kinda important tho. would like to find out the problem and i am hoping (please please please) it can be fixed and is not needing replaced no money after the power supply

same drivers as before the only thing i have done is replaced the psu. is there a way of forcing it to start in safe mode since it starts ok. i can see the loading screen
