Ive been given a PC to see if I can resolve a problem it has whereby when powered on, there is no POST or display whatsoever, just the 'Check Signal Cable' message.
Its got 2 Geforce cards in SLI, there is no onboard graphics unfortunately and I dont have any spare cards. On a side-note, the PC was caked in dust inside, which Ive done my best to clear.
So far Ive tried -
Systematically trying each card individually, each of the DVI outputs.
Tried two seperate monitors
Removing the battery to reset the BIOS
Stripping it down to bare minimum (1 DIMM, no HDDS, no Sound card etc)
Im thinking its a dead mobo, but can anyone suggest anything else I could try?
