no display on 460GTX with mobo

Hi All,

Weird issue.

I have given my 460GTX to my friend which works fine in my ASUS motherboard but he has just brought a new motherboard (Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H) and it keeps defaulting back to on-board. We have got a new PSU which is a Antec HCG-520 and works with my motherboard and the 460gtx but doesn't with his gigabyte motherboard. I have ensured the bios is set to use PEG but this isn't being picked up and defaults back to on-board and also updated the firmware to vF7 to no avail. This is all being done outside of a case to ensure nothing is shorting out. The gigabyte motherboard works with a nvidia 210 installed so i know the PCI-E slot is working.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Quick update,

Have just tried my 7850 card in the gigabyte mobo and that works fine and have flashed the 460gtx to the original rom incase it had been tinkered with as I originally brought it second hand.

Also have tried bios versions 1 back through to 7 to no avail!

Please any suggestions would be great as this is driving me mad!!
