I have just put my PC under water and I came to turn it on and nothing happens. I have checked all the connectors and I attached a speaker. The speaker didn't beep at all and when I turned it on I got no display output. However, I removed all the ram and I did get a speaker sound.

I have tried a cmos reset, a barebones boot and have checked all power connectors. I am lost on what to do now.

HELP! please.

Did you leak test it?

I've been having trouble with monitor cables recently so I'm inclined to say that a loose connection there is a likely problem.

We can be fairly sure the problem is not in the graphics card as there is usually a beep code when the gpu is the culprit... So i would assume it is the motherboard as it was working before you watercooled and the cpu is fairly sturdy... Will come over asap to give my mobo i try in your system!

Has your mobo got onboard video?, ifso try that if not try a diffrence gpu (if you can) als what psu do you have as im assuming a water cooled rig requires more power (pumps etc)

I am using a 700W PSU with a 5850 and a phenom II so power isn't the problem. Unfortunately it hasn't got onboard video. However I have noticed that if I try a boot without the CPU power in the speaker doesn't make any beeps which leads me to assume the error is somewhere between the RAM/GPU and the CPU.

Any more ideas?
