Ok, I posted earlier in the main hardware section about a problem getting into BIOS - turns out it's RAM related.

I have 2 x 1GB of OCZ 2GB PC2-6400 Special Ops Edition.

I can boot into BIOS using each of them individually, but not together.

Once I managed to boot into BIOS with both connected, but it only showed 1GB in use. I never again was able to do that.

Any ideas please?

Boot into the bios again with 1 stick of ram and increase the voltage of the ram by 0.2v then try and boot again with 2 sticks if that doesn't work try 0.3V. Also what mobo do you have?

You sir, are a genius.

I only had the option to up it by 0.5v but it worked!

I can't believe it. Unfortunately I already ordered another 2GB to see if that was the problem.

Oh well, here is to 4gb!

Question: I know I can only utilise about 3.5Gb of this with 32-bit, but will the extra 1.5gb make much difference to my gaming experience?
