No Equalizer o_O

Just recieved my new X-fi XtremeMusic (OEM) this morning from overclockers, upon installation of the card and drivers (from creative's site) i've discovered there is no graphic equaliser at all. Have i done something wrong or isnt it available to OEM users (makes it kinda useless to me if thats the case),

It has one, not that you should mess around with it. I recommend disabling cms3d and crylistizer too.

In a nutshell why do you say that? I have a Fata1ty and have left them on by default..

Well, in my experience people tend to go WAY overboard with equalizers

I think 'squiffy' was probably hinting at this.

Then your speakers aren't very good. With decent gear, it should sound better with EQ, CMS3D and Crystilzer disabled. It's noticeable what sounds better on my budget seperate PC sound system.
