No feeling in finger after knife attacked me

Was attempting to get the seed out of an avocado and give myself a nasty and very deep cut on my finger.

Im not bothered about the laceration, but I can't feel anything on one side of my finger above the cut towards my fingertip.

Anyone had similar? Does it improve after a few days or is there more serious damage to a nerve?

I'm just wondering if the numbness is commonafter doing similar. I can stick a plaster on the wound.

Seeing a GP is 2 week waiting list and A and E is full of poverty.

I've not asked for a diagnosis. That is obvious I have a cut on my finger. It's just a bit numb and I was wondering if this is typical of such injury
