Thanks to the good chaps on the FaH Forums I now have 2 GPU's running.

Just thought I'd mention it.

When they've finished the WU's I'll have a fiddle with the GFX clockspeeds.

Temps are not too bad, I am on water so that helps. One GFX card ticks over at 50 - 55 degrees so far unclocked, I shall restart with 2 GPU's again once I have resolved the issue of being unable to continue WU's after closing and opening the console:

Code:
[11:08:18] Entering M.D.
[11:08:24] Will resume from checkpoint file
[11:08:24] Working on 1258 p2742_GPUlambda
[11:08:26] Starting GUI Server
[11:08:29] Resuming from checkpoint
[11:08:29] Verified work/wudata_01.log
[11:08:29] File work/wudata_01.edr has changed since last checkpoint
[11:08:29] mdrun_gpu returned 114
[11:08:29] Going to send back what have done.

Once that's sorted I'll wind it up to full blast and let you know. But so far it looks more than capable.

So far I don't think anyone's determined why this happens with some people's GPU clients, as it certainly isn't something universal. I can close my GPU console box with both the X and Ctrl+C and have no trouble recovering from a checkpoint.

If you do find out whats going on, we'd all like to know :)

Are you using ctrl+c to close the console? Sorry I didn't mention it before - thought you were using the GUI version.

I've tried ctrl-c and no difference, it is strange and a tad annoying.

Well, when I find out whats going on I shall let you all know.

I am currently wading through my collection of drivers.......

I was wondering if it had anything to do with disc caching or anything like that?
