I'd try a fresh install of the drivers and verify your Battlefield 4 game files in Origin.

Might also be worth heading to the video tab and selecting restore defaults before you do all of this.

Go to Documents\Battlefield 4\settings and open PROFSAVE_profile with a text editor, then search for 'GstRender.MantleEnabled' option and change the value 0 to 1, if it's not there, add it.

Did that and set already to 1.

Ok its all sorted now after doing what Matt suggested, think I had to optimise the game

One thing before this I was running it with directx but was getting crashes so under clocked my card and seemed to run fine. Now i'm using mantal can i set my card back to default ?

If you were getting crashes then it's possible the card was unstable, however it could just be the game. Try it and find out and maybe you'll get your answer.
