Right im not getting any graphic output my monitor stays in sleep, orange light not blue... i switched motherboard but still same problem, switched graphics card.. same prob, switched ram... same prob, my motherboard n cpu seems working fine dont get any errors when turn it on no beeps or nothing everything sounds right n makes the noise it does as it posts... so hardrive seems be fine too because everything starts up as it would normally just without graphics.. all fans spin and everything board is fine functions right..

anyone know what could be wrong and what i could test??? Thanks in advance.

Yeah i tried my other monitor as well and it does the exact same thing... =/ I had same problem ages ago on different computer due to ram but cant be that on this one i tested with different ram =/ hmmm

Have you pressed the analog digital button as on my monitor if its on analog i get an orange light and no signal. I know its probably not that but just incase try it.

Have you being inside your pc lately, and unplugged or knocked out the gpu power connector !

Single card and even tried using a diff card same prob, just got a brand new motherboard so i put that in and same prob.. will try that on monitor now but since its hapenning on both monitors...

Umm how do you know everything is functioning right if you can't see the post and bios messages?

I would say your motherboard is hosed or CPU pins are bent or your power supply is faulty.

You need to try things the other way around now that you have tried swapping things in and out of the existing setup.

Try taking the parts and trying them in a different machine, a mates one if you don't have one handy.

Then, if the gfx cards work ok in another machine its not them, you could then test the other bits and pieces if you can. But at the end of the day you may have to get another mobo to test with.

yeah i sent the gpu to my mates to test it and it worked fine so thats no faulty, i was thinking it seems most likely that my cpu has somehow messed up and so my computer isn't posting... same thing as when my RAM messed up in other rig.. that would mean that its not started sending graphics.. my only problem with that theory is that can hear my hardrive reading doesn't that mean has posted? Because i thought would either be CPU or hardrive...

Possibly a 12v rail had gone down in your PSU - so some stuff is ok but may not getting enough power to PCI-e???

Get a multimeter and test your PSU

I had the exact same problem when building a pc with old components recently; swapped out all the essential components like psu, cpu, graphics card and ram. No beeps at all and fans spin etc so I assumed the motherboard was fine all along. In the end I found that the motherboard was in fact the problem.

In your case, it's either the mboard or cpu. Most likely the former though.

Do you have the latest bios that supports your CPU? I had the same on my GF's rig...

Also on her MSI the following would only boot the machine:
1. unplug the cord OR just switch PSU off
2. wait 15 sec
3. switch psu on wait 2 sec
4. turn PC on with power button

or maybeyou can try with the bare minimum out of the case, only 1 ram stick etc.... switch ports :)

Have you put the EXTRA power cord in at the top of the mobo?
