No HDMI output

Hi guys

Any insight on why there is no HDMI output from a GTX 550Ti? DVI works fine.

1. The port is mini-HDMI v1.4 on the card
2. Using a mini to standard HDMI adapter that comes with the graphic card.
3. Cable is a cheap 1.3a version bought online. Cable should be fine because it works on another computer against the same projector
4. Projector is Optoma HD20 which is HDMI v 1.3a

my guess would be that either the hdmi port on the card is bad or the mini-hdmi to hdmi adapter is bad or you've not set it up in the control panel correctly
