No idea what happened, but cannot login to Windows

So my new Overclockers UK PC arrived today, and I plugged everything in and turned it on and everything seemed to be fine - reason for celebration, obviously. But then the Windows setup wizard thing seemed to give me the option of creating a user account and setting a password, but once I was done setting it all up, I get past the lock screen and the only user option is "defaultuser0", and that account has a password that I don't know. I tried the obvious stuff - "password", "guest", etc. - but I have no idea where the account I thought I set up has gone and how I'm supposed to login.

The only option it gives me is to "reset password" which requires a password reset disk. I've tried using my Windows 10 laptop to create such a disk on a USB stick but every time I click on the icon that seems to be where I need to go - "Create a password reset disk" in the control panel - it doesn't do or say anything when I click on it, just nothing happens.

So I have NO idea what I'm supposed to do. I'm autistic and I've been having a rough time emotionally recently. I didn't even know that my PC was going to be delivered this evening - DPD said they'd text me a delivery window but it just showed up without me getting one - and I've gone from jubilation to total frustration.

Oh, and my PC came with a Windows 10 config/install disk as I'd expect...but apparently I ordered a PC without a disk drive! I thought it came by default, but I checked the full list of my order and a disk drive isn't included, so that one's my fault. If I have to get a disk drive installed at some point, I assume that it's relatively trivial to do so - there is TONS of room in the case.

Please advise. Thank you.

That doesn't seem to be an option. I click on the lock screen and it won't let me change users and there's nowhere to enter a new username - it just gives me an option to enter a password. That's it.

I finally worked out how to create a password reset disk on my USB, but then tried to use it and no matter what I enter as the password, it just says there was an error. It's getting to the point where stuff in my house is about to get broken.

There will be an option somewhere on the screen to let you change user. Try clicking on the displayed name. Or perhaps it's down in the right corner.

Password reset disks will only work in the system in which they were created.

BTW have you tried no password?

OK I solved the issue by re-installing Windows 10 and logging in with my Microsoft account. After doing some research, the "defaultuser0" bug is a very common one in Windows and I was unlucky to get it on a fresh version but the workaround wasn't too much hassle. I was just really emotional and not thinking straight, but my sister helped me slow down my thinking a bit and we worked out what to do.
