No images showing!

My friend said that any page he visits on the net, any pic on them are not showing!! Just a square box where the pic should be and a red cross in it.

Whats he done wrong!!

that or get him to try firefox and see if that 'fixs' the issue.

What web browser is he using?

For IE, go to tools - internet options - advanced - then about half way down under 'multimedia' there's a check box for 'show pictures' make sure that's ticked.
