this issue is driving me mad, I reinstall a lot of PC's
I use a Slip streamed SP3 CD, however after a full windows update they loose internet access (specificly they still get an IP and can ping IP's but have no DNS resolution, pinging a dns name results is instant failure)
the question is does anyone know which update does this???
1) I am 100% sure its not the network card drivers (it happens on different cards)
2) to resolve the issue I install all the updates in 3 random batches (all the same updates but in 3 batches rather than 1)
3) Its not my network as I took a machine to site and it did the same
4) someone else installed XP SP3 from their own disk and I updated it, this caused the same issue
anyone have any idea which update to exclude?
