Hi all. Having an issue with no internet connectivity through the 5ghz WiFi on my dlink dwr953. 2.4ghz is working fine. Lan connections are working fine also. Looked through all the settings and can’t see anything that’s odd. I’ve tried jumping about on different channels but that doesn’t seem to help. I’ve reset the box a few times and changed its work mode from router to bridge and it’s still the same regardless.
Any ideas other than it’s somehow faulty?

What IP address do you get when you're connected to the 5GHz network? Can you ping the default gateway? Can you ping 8.8.8.8? Have you got MAC address filtering enabled on your router?

I get an APIPA address when I connect from my iPhone.
I have since posting, thought of trying another device on the 5g and that works fine.
I've removed the IP reservation as I thought it might be an IP conflict but hasn't solved the issue, in fact, the 2.4g is now being flaky with my iPhone so I'm beginning to think its an issue with my iPhone.
saying that the iPhone connects fine to my other wap on either band just fine.
I'm going to reboot my main router and see if that helps

Solved. it was an IP conflict.
I deleted all but the essential static IP's from the router and it seems to have fixed the issue.
