Hey guys,

Today is a sad day. I ordered my broadband connection from Sky, and found out that the installation date is not for a month. This is apparently the same deal for all ISP's because they all use the BT engineers?

I've looked into VM but unfortunately they dont offer their services in my area.

I use the internet quite a lot: youtube, gaming, night-time activites ;)

Does anyone know of a good solution to my dilemma?

I've looked at mobile broadband as an option, and it's expensive :P
I've seen that T-mobile don't charge extra if you go over the traffic limit (5gb) but they "restrict" your use. Does this then mean they just limit the speeds you get massively? Might still be enough for gaming though?

Anyway, I really appreciate any advise from some of you guys, maybe you have been in the same situation as me :)

Goodbye, and thank for all the gigs ;)

Mobile broadband or hi-jack a neighbours Wifi. Look for WEP & WPS networks. BT5 is your friend.

Thanks for the response!

What is BT5? I'm guessing it has something to do with it being WEP or WPS secured networks?

*never mind, I just goggled it and found out. Thanks for the tip ;) *

You could also just explain your dilemma to a neighbor and offer them a few quid in exchange for access to their wifi for a month. Instead of trying to crack into one.
